Kapital are no strangers to unique processes, but even by their standards the CENTURY DENIM No.9 MONKEY CISCO jeans feature some incredible techniques in production.A base of cotton denim is dyed 30 times with the tannins of Yeddo Hawthorn tree woodchips and mud. The time-honoured dyeing technique – native to Japan's Amami Oshima islands – employs the area's unique iron-rich mud to create beautiful black/brown shades. The fabric is then woven on customised looms in Hiroshima, further accented with a sashiko linen stitch that adds a unique texture and pattern.Cut in a regular fit straight cut, the MONKEY CISCO jeans feature a standard five pocket design with a vintage-inspired adjustable cinch at the back to help with getting the perfect fit.
