The Deck Smock is a contemporary take by MHL. on the anoraks worn by crew on ships of the Royal Navy decades ago. The cotton body is pigment dyed, adding an extra level of character both in the non-uniform finish and the fading characteristics that will take place over time.Featuring a half-placket with a hook and bar fastening system, the hood is lined with cotton in a contrasting colour for an added level of detail. Apron pockets on the body add an extra level of intrigue, foregoing the standard side or kangaroo pocket style that one would expect.
