Whether on the feet of Michael Jordan or Buggin' Out's pair getting scuffed in Do The Right Thing, the Nike Air Jordan 4 remains an iconic silhouette some 30+ years after release. Compared with other Jordan silhouettes, the AJ4 hasn't seen as many releases lately. This version, however, brings a new twist to a classic colour combo for this model.The uppers are made from twill canvas, similar to the AJ4 created by Marshall Mathers (aka Eminem) in collaboration with Carhartt. This pair also receives a suede mudguard on the toe for increased durability. Elsewhere the classic AJ4 details remain with the plastic mesh overlays and iconic ankle 'wings' both finished in tonal black. The use of red accents to round out the colourway is no accident – 'Fire Red' is the very same hue used on the original pairs worn by MJ on the court in '89.
