American skate imprint Bianca Chandôn teams with Vans to create a collection which pays homage to the long history of Vans in skateboarding. Each model is produced with a full canvas upper – no different to the pairs being worn by long-haired, free spirited kids surfing the sidewalks in the 1970's. The star pattern is drawn from archival references, giving the models an authentic period-correct feeling. Each shoe sports a heavily distressed finish, giving the perfect lived-in look without all of the funky smells.No Vans collab dedicated to skate history would be complete with the famed slip-on. When we think about it objectively, it's pretty crazy to think a lace-less design could enjoy such a long and storied history, but here we are. The large toebox panel meant there was less stitching and joins to fall apart when you were thrashing these in the bowl or at the local park. Plus no pesky laces to snap and leave you stranded!
