Realtree® camouflage has been doing the rounds the last few years, with every cool kid wanting to confuse the world into thinking they're some sort of hunting aficionado. Although, demonstrably less effective at hiding you from wildlife than traditional camouflages, it looks damn cool. The recipe's simple: chuck a bunch of photo-realistic foliage on your gear and disappear as if you're wearing Harry Potter's invisibility cloak.CHECKS stepped things up a notch, ditching off-the-shelf fabric to instead develop their own. They based it around Kawakawa, an indigenous plant used in Maōri culture for centuries. The bespoke camo's printed onto cotton drill and cut into a durable painters pant style complete with multiple pockets and tool loops.
