New Balance continues to cement its place as the brand dropping the most consistently strong colourways at the moment. The 990v2 silhouette – once considered the ugly duckling 99x – has finally been getting the respect it deserves.The M990AI2 is dressed mainly in 'Marigold' orange tones. The contrast hits come with black overlays and bright white tongue to complement the lining and midsole. Definitely one of the brighter offerings we've seen in a while, but there's a good balance achieved with the neutral tones which makes these a wearable shoe – just a little zestier than normal.
