The Reebok NPC II by JJJJound is a masterclass in minimalism. To call them a white shoe is overly simplistic – the level of consideration put into this project is at whole other level.To describe the shoe is to discuss the creative process between Reebok and JJJJound. The concept was to create a uniform staple – something that the NPC II manages well. The recipe is simple enough, quality white leather for the uppers perched atop an off-white tinted sole. The gold foil JJJJound branding hit serves as the only outward clue these are not your average pair. The devil – as they say – is in the details…The brilliance of this collaboration is that each pair is different, albeit ever so slightly. Amongst the upper, lining and outsole – variations are mixed and matched through the production process. At a glance differences are indistinguishable – the leather comes in Optic or Arctic white, the lining varies between Chalk and Polar white and the sole has three potential tread patterns.The best part?
