Description
The XT-Quest 2 is what happens when Salomon goes wild and makes a shoe which draws from their 2000s back-catalogue using current-day technology. The smooth nubuck uppers have a swoopy, almost organic shape which is reminiscent of pre-2010 Salomon hiking shoes. The rubber mudguard for the toe wears the early-2000s logo, which is repeated on the heel and tongue in Crown Jewels (lol!) purple.The sole unit is all-modern, spec'd with 4D Advanced Chassis™ motion control for support across rugged terrain. This sole tooling is more commonly seen on the hiking boot range. The visual weight might have been overbearing if Salomon's team hadn't balanced it perfectly with the light/dark colour blocking.
