Description
The 19 Century Shirt is a bit of an oversized shirt/smock type of situation. This classic Engineered Garments silhouette has been in the range for years and in that time has grown a fanbase. The airy fit, with a curved hemline that has deep side vents allow it to be worn over the top of just about anything.A cotton flannel cloth is the chosen fabric for this version, which is printed with all-over print of flowers. Floral patterns have been in EG's repertoire for ages, indeed long enough for it to seem odd if there isn't any in a season. The brushed flannel finish means that the pattern isn't as crisp, instead the colours are broken up with navy cotton flecks in an almost vintage look.
