Back in 2020, New Balance celebrated the return of the 2002R with a series of collaborations, one of the most memorable came from Korean streetwear label thisisneverthat. After two years since this partnership began, the two are finally reuniting with a duo of 860v2.In keeping with their signature design aesthetics the collaborative 860v2 arrives in a duo of neutral colorways, the lighter of which is not unlike one of the aforementioned 2002Rs. A slight vintage tint is applied to leather suede and nubuck paneling of the ML860TW2, complementing the cream finish that the laces and midsole take on. Elsewhere, the “NB” logo along the tongue is printed in a bright red (a nod to new balance's classic logo and colours from yesteryear), the only colour shared by the accompanying black colourway.
